About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Dimitri's Pizza Steak & Seafood. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Place dishes in storage areas, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, ensuring that our customers have a seamless dining experience.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, adhering to our strict health and safety protocols.
  • Keep accurate records of food quantities used, supporting our inventory management and ordering processes.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, working closely with our culinary team to deliver exceptional dishes.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, maintaining a high level of efficiency and productivity.
  • Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, upholding our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and responsibly, adhering to our health and safety protocols.
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, supporting our kitchen team in the preparation of delicious meals.
