The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills to engage with all levels of the business to understand their needs and solicit their requirements. You will work closely with the business areas to produce standard business analysis deliverables and tailor them based on the project methodology.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and define business needs and issues by gathering, analyzing, documenting, validating, and supporting business requirements.
- Identify, document, report, and track project issues.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and manage changes to such specifications.
- Ensure all user acceptance tests are conducted and documented according to standards.
- Working knowledge of various methodologies such as agile, waterfall, scrum, and hybrid.
- Experience working within public sector (government ministries, Crown corporations) and insurance/investment organizations is a strong asset.
- Basic understanding of business, market, and industry issues facing a specific business unit or function.
