Furniture Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Craftsman to join our team at Groupe Cabico Inc. in Canada. This is a permanent position with a salary of approximately $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, sanding, and trimming wooden furniture and fixture parts, as well as setting up and operating finishing machines or finish furniture by hand. They will also assemble wooden or metal furniture and fixture parts to form subassemblies and complete articles, read blueprints and drawings, stain or finish wood to specified color, and apply toners, highlights, glazes, or shaders to obtain desired finish.

To be considered for this role, applicants must have experience in woodworking and furniture assembly. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent attention to detail and ability to handle heavy loads. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of safety protocols and be able to distinguish between colors.
