About the Role:
Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing is seeking a skilled Baker to join our team in the Blue River Kitchen. As a member of our Pastry team, you will be responsible for assisting in the creation of bread, dough, and breakfast items, as well as developing new recipes and maintaining consistent food quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of bread, dough, and breakfast items
- Develop and test new recipes
- Maintain high standards of food quality
- Follow safe food handling procedures
- Support the Pastry team and execute recipes consistently
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
Requirements:
- University or College Diploma in a Culinary field preferred
- Certified Chef designation preferred
- Food Safe Certification and WHMIS required
- Two to three years' experience in a similar position
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation:
$23 per hour, plus auto gratuities and a season completion bonus
