Patient Focused Care Responsibilities:
The Pharmacist will play a key role in achieving departmental excellence in patient-focused care, customer service, and workflow efficiencies. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing safe, effective, and appropriate drug therapy
- Initiating care plans, following up, and documenting
- Administering vaccines
- Determining the appropriateness of drug therapy
- Monitoring medication adherence
- Collecting and documenting relevant patient, drug, and disease information
- Recommending OTC products and vitamins
- Answering questions from patients requiring therapeutic knowledge, clinical analysis, or assessment
- Supervising a pharmacy student or provisional pharmacist in restricted activities
Qualifications & Skills:
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Experience in Kroll
- Experience working in a retail environment
- Good communication skills (oral and written)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team
