About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Finance Coordinator to join our team at Sinai Health System. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of the Emergency Department, including physician payments, budgets, and funding agreements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Handle all financial related activities for the Emergency physicians hospital cost centers, including coordinating the monthly pay of each emergency physician through the Ministry of Health AFA (Alternate Funding Agreement) and all other funding sources or initiatives
  • Manage all financial related activities for programs associated with the Emergency physician group, such as the CCFP-EM Program and the AGS Grant
  • Manage all financial related activities for the SEME program
  • Perform other duties consistent with the job classification as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
  • Previous experience in a healthcare environment
  • Financial or accounting designations (CPA or similar designation)
