About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at South Island Deck Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the installation of resilient floor coverings, hardwood floors, and vinyl decking materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, marking them accurately for installation
  • Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings, including vinyl decking materials
  • Prepare and install hardwood floors to the highest standards
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings to ensure a seamless finish
  • Estimate costs and materials for each project, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Prepare floors for installation, ensuring a smooth and even surface
