Farm Supervisor Job Description

At Alberta Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our farm, ensuring the highest quality crops are produced while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of farm labourers and harvesting labourers
  • Implement soil fertility programs and ensure crop quality control
  • Train staff in seed cutting techniques and maintain quality control records
  • Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
  • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
  • Maintain quality control and production records
  • Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
  • Hire and train staff
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physically demanding work
  • Attention to detail
  • Organized and team player
