Job Title: Bookkeeper

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Big & Small Renovations. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and managing accounts payable and receivable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Manage accounts payable
  • Manage accounts receivable
  • Prepare invoices and bank deposits

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 30 hours per week
