Job Title: Kinesiologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Kinesiologist to join our team at Lifemark Collingwood Sport Medicine & Rehabilitation Centre.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapist. They will design, implement, and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning, and/or work hardening programs. Additionally, they will teach exercise classes to seniors and perform biweekly reassessments of client progress through functional testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments
  • Design and implement graded exercise, work conditioning, and/or work hardening programs
  • Teach exercise classes to seniors
  • Perform biweekly reassessments of client progress
  • Record functional and subjective findings in client charts
  • Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals
  • Conduct group orientation and education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clients
  • Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress, and discharge

Qualifications:
  • Registered with the College of Kinesiology of Ontario
  • Graduate of university Kinesiology degree program
  • Preferably with 1-5 years of work experience specializing in Occupational Rehabilitation
