Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Mississauga. This is an afternoon shift position (Monday-Friday, 3:15pm to 11:45pm) with a shift premium and unionized facility.

The successful candidate will have a 310T Journeyman certification and intermediate level knowledge of engine products. They will be responsible for completing repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop under supervision.

Main Responsibilities

  • Completes repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop under supervision.
  • Applies documented procedures and policies to complete basic repairs and schedule maintenance.
  • Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and/or engine components.
  • Assists with completion of required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims, and quality forms.
  • Completes training in line with skill and business requirements.
  • Maintains work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
  • Ensures adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation.

Qualifications

  • 310T Journeyman certification.
  • Locally valid driving permit (preferred).

Experience

  • Intermediate level of workshop experience required.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products.

Compensation and Benefits
