About the Role

Aeris Airconditioning is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for creating high-quality sheet metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Blueprint Reading and Interpretation

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure accurate fabrication.

Sheet Metal Fabrication

Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates, and operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal.

Material Cutting and Preparation

Cut materials using power tools or by hand, and prepare sheet metal for fabrication.

Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Software

Operate CADD and other computer software systems to design and optimize sheet metal products.

Assembly and Installation

Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes, and install them in various locations.

Quality Control and Assurance

Ensure high-quality products by inspecting and testing fabricated sheet metal products.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication.

Work Setting

Ability to work in a fast-paced fabrication environment with varying locations.

Language

Fluency in English.

Work Hours

40 hours per week.
