Job Title: Floor Covering Installer

System One Floor Solutions Inc. is seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing various types of floor coverings, including carpeting, resilient flooring, and hardwood flooring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Install carpeting, resilient flooring, and hardwood flooring
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants
  • Operate knee kickers and other equipment to stretch carpeting
  • Perform direct glue-down carpet installations
  • Install vinyl decking materials
Work Environment:

Our team works in a variety of settings, including commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential locations. You will be exposed to dust and odors, and may be required to work at heights.

Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • 1-2 years of experience in floor covering installation
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work at heights
