About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Antique Stucco Ltd. as a Stucco Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation of stucco on various construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials

You will be responsible for loading and unloading construction materials, such as stucco, sand, and cement, from trucks and equipment.

Erecting and Dismantling Forms and Scaffolding

You will assist in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades on construction sites.

Mixing and Applying Stucco

You will mix and apply stucco to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces, ensuring a smooth and even finish.

Assisting in Framing and Building

You will assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, using various tools and equipment.

Leveling and Grading

You will level earth to fine grade specifications, ensuring that the site is properly prepared for construction.

Cleaning and Piling Materials

You will clean and pile salvaged materials, and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants on the construction site.

Removing Debris

You will remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.

Tending to Equipment

You will tend to or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring they are properly maintained and functioning correctly.

Requirements
  • Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.

Personal Qualities

You must be a reliable team player with excellent communication skills.

Training and Experience

We will provide training for the right candidate, and experience in construction or a related field is an asset.
