About the Role:
ATCO is seeking a skilled Camp Attendant to join our team in a remote workforce housing facility in support of the BHP Jansen potash mine. As a Camp Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the lodge, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain clean and hygienic conditions of the bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen units.
- Make beds, change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries.
- Wash, dry, and fold linens and towels.
- Assist in laundry as needed.
- Dust and vacuum all furniture and draperies.
- Sweep, mop, wash, wax, and polish floors.
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
- Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
- Ensure adherence to all government regulations as well as ATCO's Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to lift + lbs.
Requirements:
- Experience in a remote camp environment is an asset.
- Or more years of housekeeping experience in the camp or hotel industry is considered an asset.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Excellent people skills.
- Clear and effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
