Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cake Decorator to join our team at our Hawkstone Food Store in Edmonton, Alberta. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for providing prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service to customers at the Bakery counter. You will also decorate, package, prepare, and stock products in the bakery department, complete special orders for cake decoration, and maintain a display of bakery showcase ensuring facing, filling, and organization of products meets company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service at the Bakery counter
- Decorate and package bakery products to meet customer demands
- Prepare and stock bakery products in a timely and efficient manner
- Complete special orders for cake decoration
- Maintain a clean and organized bakery department
- Monitor case temperature and clean equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently
Requirements:
- Exceptionally strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic approach to work
- Efficient and accurate when working in a busy environment
- 1 year of cake decorating experience
- Previous retail experience preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
