We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Coast Tire & Auto Service Ltd. as a Heavy Vehicle Specialist.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks, including inspections, adjustments, and replacements of parts and components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial transport trucks, including inspections, adjustments, and replacements of parts and components;
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and recommend preventative maintenance;
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and meet customer deadlines;
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's status.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent;
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification or Red Seal Certificate; $62,000 - $82,000 per year;
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in heavy vehicle repair;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Punctuality and reliability in meeting customer commitments.
