Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at ISC Corporate Services Ltd. in Toronto, Ontario. As a vital member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Prepare day-to-day deposits and financial transactions, including verifying, posting, and recording data.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable accounts to ensure all payments are posted properly and accounted for, and refund requests are accurate.
  • Verify discrepancies and ensure accurate adjustments and credit notes are processed in a timely manner, including investigating and resolving irregularities.
  • Maintain accounts receivable files and records, generating invoices, and ensuring accurate account statements.
  • Prepare analysis of accounts and produce monthly reports.
  • Assist in general financial management practices.
Requirements:
  • Accounting diploma or certificate + relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of general accounting procedures.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Organization skills.
  • Ability to perform filing, record-keeping, and administrative work.
