Job Title: Dump Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team at Hayer Demolition Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a dump truck in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring the timely delivery of materials to various locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a dump truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
  • Perform brake adjustments and other maintenance tasks as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, maintenance, and other relevant data.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of materials.
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Driving record check (abstract).
  • Drug test.
  • Medical exam.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods and overnight.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as a dump truck driver or in a related field.
  • Knowledge of GPS navigation systems and other communication equipment.
