EllisDon is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety & Environment Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and subcontractors.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Collaborate with employees and subcontractors to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Provide training and education on safety procedures and protocols to all employees and subcontractors.
  • Compile and analyze safety statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement a safety culture that promotes a proactive and preventative approach to safety.

**Requirements**

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Valid OFA L3 certificate or equivalent.
  • National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) certificate or equivalent is an asset.
  • Construction Safety Coordinator Gold Seal Certification or CRSP Designation is an asset.
  • Experience in the Certificate of Recognition (COR) program is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
