About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Electrician to join our team. As an Aircraft Electrician, you will be responsible for:

  • Manufacturing, installing, connecting, and verifying wires and electric cables of the aircraft;
  • Ensuring identification, tracking, securing, and connecting cables;
  • Carrying out electrical continuity control testing and grounding conductors of electrical circuits;
  • Verifying the continuity of the electric harness and correcting problems detected by using ohmmeters, voltmeters, or others.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A professional diploma (DEP) – Cable and Circuit Assembly recognized by the Ministry of Education or military equivalent or equivalent experience in aircraft wiring assembly;
  • Bilingualism (an asset);
  • Strong skills for teamwork;
  • Dynamism and innovation, with a passion for technical challenges;
  • Organization, autonomy, and a developed analytical sense.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
  • Be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO SECRET security clearance;
  • Be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR);
  • Have a reliable means of transportation to our location.
