Job Title: Grocery Associate - Part-Time Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Grocery Associate - Part-Time Position at our Camrose store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Accurately process customer transactions and maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Replenish merchandise and maintain planograms, labels, and tickets.
  • Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and guidelines.
  • Follow loss prevention best practices and ensure the security of the store.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work a mix of days, evenings, and weekends, up to 24 hours weekly.

Physical Demands:

  • Stand and/or walk for extended periods.
  • Bend, twist, and squat to perform tasks.
  • Lift and/or move up to 18 kg (40 lbs.).
  • Perform tasks involving firm grasping and repetitive hand motions.

Keyholder Premium (If Applicable):

Opening and closing the store on an ad hoc basis, including running register reports and ensuring all areas are tidy.

Ensuring the security of the store, including locking and setting alarm.

Receiving deliveries and ensuring the store is well-stocked and ready for customers.

Starting up registers and unlocking and disabling alarm.

Ensuring all Associates have completed their end of shift tasks.

Ensuring the checkout work area is kept clean and organized.

Ensuring Loss prevention best practices are followed.

Ensuring compliance of all policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery.

Ensuring emergency protocols are followed.
