We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our Domestic Tax team at Grant Thornton. As a trusted advisor to our clients, you will play a key role in providing tax planning and compliance services to privately held businesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities
  • Provide expert advice on corporate and personal tax matters, including succession, trust, and estate planning
  • Collaborate with clients and engagement teams to identify opportunities for tax savings and develop innovative solutions
  • Lead the management and development of our growing tax practice, identifying new opportunities for growth and expansion
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring clients are compliant and taking advantage of available tax incentives
Requirements
  • CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or Master's degree in Taxation
  • Substantive expertise in tax-related aspects of succession, trust, and estate matters
  • Ability to develop, present, and apply new ideas, creative approaches, and innovative solutions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
