Cleaner, Light Duty

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner, Light Duty to join our team at Diamond Cleaning. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment
  • Dust furniture to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture to remove dirt and debris
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and comfortable environment
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items to provide excellent customer service
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees to provide support and assistance
Support for Youths
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment to provide support and assistance
Support for Veterans
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans to provide support and assistance
Support for Indigenous People
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people to provide support and assistance
Support for Visible Minorities
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities to provide support and assistance

Work Term: Permanent

Work Language: English

Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
