Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Sobha Investments Ltd. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and common areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees, assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, supports social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment, offers on-the-job training tailored to youth, offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people, offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers, develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations.
