We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Workstar Framing Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity of our buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare building layouts in accordance with building codes, utilizing measuring tools and equipment.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
- Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware, ensuring precise fit and finish.
- Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites, ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Conduct site surveys and level checks to ensure accuracy and quality.
- 1-2 years of experience in framing or a related trade.
- Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
- English language proficiency.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week in a physically demanding environment.
This is a full-time position that requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The work environment is physically demanding, and the ability to work at heights is essential.
