Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Power BI, BI tools, and data warehouse dimensional modeling. They will be responsible for designing and developing cloud data and BI solutions, working on reports and dashboards migration from traditional to modern BI tools, and managing high volumes of data.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Power BI
  • Extensive experience in BI tools like Power BI, SSRS, Tableau
  • Advanced knowledge in data warehouse dimensional modeling
  • Hands-on knowledge of enterprise repository tools, data modeling tools, data mapping tools, and data profiling tools
  • Hands-on experience in RDBMS platforms like SQL Server and Oracle
  • Experience in designing solutions for aggregated facts using metadata
  • Good understanding of data visualization tools
  • Ability to develop cloud data and BI solutions as per enterprise requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of database and BI architecture design
  • Worked on reports and dashboards migration from traditional to modern BI tools
  • Managed high volumes of data at one time load
  • Worked on optimizing data modeling, database, and BI solutions
  • Applying architectural and engineering concepts to design a solution that meets operational requirements
  • Developing technology specifications and ensuring that new technology solutions are designed for optimal access and usefulness
  • Participate in development of business intelligence solutions
  • Ability to create and maintain conceptual business, logical, and physical data models
  • Experience in translating mapping relational data models into database schemas
  • Develop and create transformation queries, views, and stored procedures for ETL processes and process automations
