About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Family Caregiver to join our team at LiGu - Private Household. As a Family Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary needs and preferences.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Light Exercise: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical health and mobility.
  • Laundry and Linens: Launder clothing and household linens, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English or French, depending on the client's preference.
  • Work Setting: Urban area, working in the employer's/client's home.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
