Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced retail sales associate to join our team at BarBurrito. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating the cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, processing payments, handling cash, credit card transactions, and managing change.
  • Assist customers with purchases, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including prices, promotions, and new arrivals.
  • Ensure the store is well-stocked, visually appealing, and meets health and safety standards.
  • Participate in visual merchandising activities, such as creating displays and arranging products to maximize sales potential.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, including counting tills, reconciling cash, and ensuring the store is secure.
  • Develop skills and knowledge to progress within the company and take on additional responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Able to lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs) and stand for long periods.
  • Available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

  • This role requires working in a fast-paced retail environment with frequent exposure to cash handling, electronic equipment, and standing for extended periods.
