About the Role

Affinity is seeking a seasoned Sr. Project Manager to lead business transformation projects, leveraging expertise in project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with the Project Sponsor to identify strategic drivers and benefits for projects, ensuring successful delivery.
  2. Develop and maintain detailed project charters, plans, and budgets, including activities, deliverables, and milestone due dates.
  3. Manage project scheduling, estimating, forecasting, budget monitoring, and cost reporting for assigned projects.
  4. Determine resource requirements and dependencies to deliver projects successfully, assigning tasks to team resources.
  5. Build and maintain working relationships with the immediate team and stakeholders, communicating regularly to ensure project completion.
  6. Plan, assign, and direct the work of cross-functional project team members, providing coaching and mentorship as needed.
  7. Manage project issues, proactively mitigate risks, and lead conflict resolution.
  8. Make decisions and recommendations regarding project scope and changes to facilitate a successful outcome.
  9. Ensure quality and completeness of project delivery.
  10. Manage the creation of required project documentation.
  11. Ensure adherence to operational standards and guidelines.
  12. Produce regular project status reports and periodic update presentations to Steering Committees and management staff.
  13. Define and measure project performance indicators, taking corrective action as needed, and conduct post-implementation reviews for continuous improvement.
  14. Stay current with trends and issues in the IT industry.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 8 years of IT project management experience, with at least 5 years in a Project Manager role, working with budgets, complex systems, and interfaces.
  2. Senior PM expertise to manage business transformation projects.
  3. Experience communicating across all levels and organizations.
  4. Experience in project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.
  5. University degree in computer science or business administration, or equivalent professional experience.
  6. Expertise with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Effective negotiator with key internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Compensation

Hourly rate: $110 per hour.
