Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Mechanic to join our team at Olymel S.E.C/L.P. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment.

Employment Details
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: French
  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 1 to 2 years
  • Experience: Previous experience is considered an asset

Job Responsibilities
  • Identify and resolve irregularities and malfunctions in machinery
  • Construct foundational supports for machinery installations
  • Repair or replace faulty machinery components
  • Fabricate necessary parts during maintenance or setup
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery
  • Install machinery and equipment as required
  • Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications accurately
Welding Skills
  • Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG)
  • Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)
