Creative Graphic Designer

We are seeking a talented Creative Graphic Designer to join our team at Entro. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for providing support in relation to experiential graphic design and signage related projects.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum college diploma in graphic design or a similar field and a minimum of 1 to 3 years professional experience. A portfolio that demonstrates experience with various aspects of signage design and/or 3-dimensional work is a plus.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ideating, conceptualizing, and detailing design, development, detailing, and implementation of signage, environmental graphics, identity, and environmental branding and print projects.
  • Embracing a design studio culture and encouraging a vibrant and enthusiastic design office.
  • Participating in design workshops and presenting design solutions with the internal team.
  • Applying design strategies, related documents, and presentations that support project directives.
  • Working with the senior design team in creating conceptual renderings, artwork, and graphic materials and design intent specifications.
  • Considering and including storytelling components/design briefs with the senior design team in all conceptual designs.
  • Exploring the use of materials and methods.
  • FOLLOWING DIRECTION AND ENSURING COMPLIANCE WITH DEFINED GOALS AND STANDARDS FOR PROJECTS AND ENTRO STANDARDS.
  • Meeting with the senior team to understand project needs, including budgeting, timing, and project expectations.
  • Ensuring Entro protocols and procedures are followed on all projects by the entire team in a timely manner (timesheets, expenses, etc.).

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum college diploma in graphic design or a similar field.
  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years professional experience; a portfolio that demonstrates experience with various aspects of signage design and/or 3-dimensional work is a plus.
  • Previous experience in experiential graphic design, architecture, or industrial design firm settings will be considered as an additional asset.
  • Knowledge of signage and wayfinding production techniques is an asset.
  • Computer literacy and good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Google Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Initiative and desire to learn.
  • Detail-oriented outlook and ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

We currently have a hybrid remote-working scenario in effect, 2-3 days in the office and remaining days flex/work-from-home, but this is subject to change. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
