Job Title: Food and Beverage Service Professional

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Service Professional to join our team at Quality Inn & Conference Centre.

About the Role:
  • This is a permanent position with 35 to 40 hours of work per week.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in the food and beverage industry, although it is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Serving Food and Beverages: Prepare and serve specialty food and beverages to customers at their tables.
  2. Providing Excellent Customer Service: Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  3. Taking Orders and Relaying to Kitchen and Bar Staff: Take orders from customers and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff for preparation and serving.
  4. Clearing and Cleaning Tables, Trays, and Chairs: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs after each meal service.
  5. Advise on Menu Selections: Advise customers on menu selections and wine pairings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Languages: English language proficiency is required.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate: The ideal candidate will have a WHMIS certificate.
  • ProServe Program: A ProServe program certification would be an asset.
Benefits:
  • Salary: $30,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience.
