At Terrestar Solutions Inc., we're seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Director to lead our team in delivering a highly responsive, reliable, and performance-driven infrastructure. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure IT infrastructure, including both on-premises and cloud-based environments.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in virtualization, directory services, containerization, and DevOps techniques and tools. They will also have experience with on-premises and cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing scalable, secure IT infrastructure
  • Integrating and managing servers, storage, networking, databases, and directory services
  • Overseeing VM and storage deployment, daily operations, and monitoring
  • Ensuring backups, disaster recovery, and optimizing performance
  • Designing and maintaining networking infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
  • Applying security patches, managing firewall rules, and implementing security best practices
  • Monitoring for security threats, conducting vulnerability scans, and ensuring compliance with standards
  • Implementing DevOps tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
  • Automating deployment, configuration, and scaling of infrastructure
  • Integrating infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines and managing container environments
  • Implementing monitoring solutions for infrastructure performance
  • Analyzing trends, forecasting needs, and mitigating performance bottlenecks
  • Developing reporting and alerting systems
  • Leading and mentoring infrastructure engineers and administrators
  • Setting goals, performance metrics, and aligning strategy with company goals
  • Managing vendor relationships for value and service

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, and 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management. They will also have expertise in ITIL processes, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
