We are seeking a skilled Injection Molding Machine Operator to join our team at Polytainers. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our injection molding machines during the night shift.
Key Responsibilities- Operate injection molding machines to produce high-quality products, adhering to strict quality and safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting tasks to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Collaborate with the Shift Supervisor and Process Technician to achieve production goals and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Ensure accurate documentation of production data, including machine parameters, mold run data, and quality control records.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including lockout/tagout and personal protective equipment (PPE) usage.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate from plastics training facilities preferred.
- At least two years of experience in injection molding machine operation.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and injection molding machine operation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
- Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to anticipate and handle challenging situations effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
