Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team at MJ Roofing & Exteriors. This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a competitive salary and benefits package.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing roofing systems on various locations, including residential and commercial properties. As a Roofing Specialist, you will work independently and as part of a team to ensure high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install new roofing systems, including shingles, metal roofs, and single-ply membranes
  • Repair and replace existing roofing systems, ensuring they meet safety standards and local building codes
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Work at heights, outdoors, and in various weather conditions
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in the roofing industry, an asset
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and balance
  • Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
  • Dependability and reliability to meet deadlines and commitments
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000-$55,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a pension plan and paid time off.
