Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced control systems engineer with a strong interest in being part of a purpose-driven organization that is focused on helping our clients, colleagues, and communities thrive. Our team is regularly tasked with some of the most interesting projects in North America, including PLC/SCADA or DCS deployments up to 250,000 IO and controlling up to a billion litres/day of liquid treatment.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design Activities: Developing preliminary scope definitions, budgets, and staffing plans; field review and evaluation of existing equipment, control systems (hardware and software) and control panels; preparing studies, conceptual reports, and technical memorandums; conducting I&C engineering and analyses related to various water, wastewater, and industrial waste treatment facilities.
  • Construction Support Activities: Review of Contractor and Supplier submittals, participate in construction site inspections, support of equipment and control system commissioning, start-up, and performance testing, assist with system troubleshooting.
  • Working in a manner to ensure your personal safety and that of fellow employees by following company health and safety guidelines and policies.

Qualifications

We require a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering, along with 15 years of experience in instrumentation and controls. Possess Professional Engineering registration (P.Eng.) or the ability to obtain within 18 months of hire date is required.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $123,800 - $185,700 per annum, depending on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
