Job Description
This position involves providing primary and advanced emergency medical care to patients, including assessing patient needs, administering medications, and transporting patients to medical facilities. You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment and vehicles, as well as participating in training programs and quality assurance activities.
Requirements
- Diploma in Emergency Care/Paramedicine from a Community College in Ontario
- EMCA or A-EMCA certification by the Ministry of Health
- Certification as an Advanced Care Paramedic in the Province of Ontario
- One year experience as a Primary Care Paramedic
Benefits Package
- Salary range: IWEM 2 - $44.03 to $48.60 per hour
- Benefits include pay in lieu of benefits, pension plan, employee assistance program, tuition reimbursement program, and wellness initiatives
