Clinical Dietitian

Job Summary

As a Clinical Dietitian with Fraser Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of clinical practice guidelines. Key Responsibilities

• Determine appropriate nutrition interventions for patients based on their individual needs and medical conditions.
• Develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition interventions and make adjustments as needed.
• Contribute to the development of clinical practice guidelines and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
• Participate in research projects and clinical trials to advance the field of nutrition and dietetics.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Nutrition from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of an approved dietetic internship program.
• Current registration with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia.
• Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a clinical setting, preferably in a hospital or healthcare organization.
• Knowledge of current dietetic practice, standards, and clinical protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
