Position Overview
  • Windows Systems Administrator role.
  • Management of Active Directory and IIS backups.
  • Scripting with Avamar and NetBackup.
  • UNIX experience is required (LINUX, CENTOS, SOLARIS).

Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in Windows Systems Administration within a production setting. Less experience may be considered.
  • Expert-level knowledge of various Windows versions and Active Directory.
  • Ability to automate repetitive manual tasks using Powershell, Bash, Python, or other programming/scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with automation and orchestration tools such as DSC, Group Policies, Ansible, Puppet, and version control systems (GIT).
  • A resourceful problem solver who is willing to share knowledge and seek assistance when necessary.
  • Commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
  • Understanding of Agile, Scrum, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • A good sense of humor is appreciated.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is a plus.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft administrator or system engineer certifications.
  • Experience with Microsoft products, including IIS and Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with Avamar and NetBackup, Ivanti, EPO, CA Unified Infrastructure Management, VMware, SAN, and NAS technologies.
  • Understanding of networking principles.
  • Knowledge of various server types and chassis.
