About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves leading a team of technical experts responsible for planning, installing, and maintaining audiovisual equipment for parliamentary events in the House of Commons and Senate.

The selected candidate will oversee various technical aspects, including audio and broadcasting systems, video conferencing, presentation equipment, and other technical setups. A strong leader with technical expertise and experience managing AV operations and services is required.

Responsibilities will include managing a team, ensuring seamless event delivery, and overseeing equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to work under pressure and manage stressful situations.

Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in provisioning events and AV operations.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading a team in AV operations.
