About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Ananya Chowdhury. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and launder clothing and household linens.
  • Light Housekeeping and Cleaning Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, clean changing rooms and showers.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a safe and secure environment for our staff and visitors by adhering to our security protocols.
  • Transportation and Travel: Travel expenses will be paid by the employer.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, efficient interpersonal skills, initiative, organized, values and ethics, and patience.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience.
  • Health Benefits: Health care plan provided.
  • Financial Benefits: As per collective agreement.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 48 hours per week.
