Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Petroleum Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our site operations team, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining petroleum equipment, systems, and accessories essential to site operation. This role requires a high level of mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and maintain petroleum equipment, systems, and accessories to ensure optimal site operation.
- Repair and maintain leak detection systems to prevent environmental hazards.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and portray the company in a positive manner at all times.
- Exercise independent judgment to solve complex work problems and make sound decisions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 site coverage.
Requirements
- Highly mechanical aptitude with a strong problem-solving ability.
- Clean driver's abstract and valid driver's license.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrical expertise or understanding of electrical concepts and basic programming.
- TSSA Petroleum Mechanic Certifications (PM1, PM2, PM3, or PMH).
- Measurement Canada Certified Inspector.
