About the Role

Mancor Industries- Royal Windsor Drive is seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal products, working with heavy-duty metal-working machines, and ensuring high-quality finishes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine materials required for fabrication
  • Lay out reference points and patterns for metal products
  • Plan the sequence of tasks to cut metal efficiently
  • Study engineering drawings and blueprints to understand product specifications
  • Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures
  • Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, such as brakes and presses
  • Construct patterns and templates for metal products
  • Install fabricated components in final products
  • Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal product surfaces
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in metal fabrication
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and stand for extended periods
Work Environment

Mancor Industries- Royal Windsor Drive is a metal products manufacturing company with a noisy and dusty work environment. The successful candidate will be required to work in a physically demanding environment with a focus on safety and quality.
