Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at PRIMECARE NURSING AGENCY LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in need, working closely with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting a sense of well-being and comfort.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, ensuring patients receive nutritious and enjoyable meals.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring patient rooms are tidy and organized.
  • Transport patients between care facilities, using wheelchairs or stretchers as needed.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations, responding promptly and effectively to patient needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring individualized and effective support.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive tasks and varying patient needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client care and satisfaction.
  • Dependability, efficiency, and a strong work ethic.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to lift, turn, and position patients, as well as perform other physically demanding tasks.

  • Client focus and dependability.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.
Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Schedule:

30 to 40 hours per week, with a permanent employment arrangement.
