Job Overview

The Senior Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner- Corporate Functions will be a key member of the Scotiabank leadership team. This role will focus on creating and executing HR strategies that align with the bank's overall goals, values, and philosophies.

Responsibilities
  • Develops and implements HR programs that drive business results and support the bank's objectives.
  • Provides strategic guidance to senior management teams and contributes to the development of short- and long-term strategies.
  • Leverages change leadership capabilities to drive customer-focused cultures and ensure successful delivery/implementation of initiatives.

Requirements
  • 10-15 years of experience in HR strategy development and execution.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including talent management, performance management, organizational design, and compensation.
  • Excellent coaching and people management skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
