Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Physio First Physiotherapy Clinic. This role will provide frontline support to our physiotherapists, enabling them to deliver high-quality patient care.

Salary & Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary in the range of $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physiotherapists with daily tasks, ensuring seamless patient care.
  • Administer evaluative tests and procedures to patients, under the supervision of a licensed physiotherapist.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, preparing it for use by physiotherapists and patients.
  • Prepare and maintain supplies, restocking as needed to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Document patient rehabilitation progress, providing valuable insights for treatment planning.
  • Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients, promoting independence and effective recovery.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods, with flexibility to adapt to changing work demands.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a minimum of 32 hours per week. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment and be committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
