Your Role:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our cloud data engineering group, you will design and implement scalable, secure, and high-availability data solutions on GCP.

  1. Develop cloud architecture solutions to meet strategic goals.
  2. Create data models and processes for storing, transforming, and retrieving company information.
  3. Build large-scale Enterprise Data Models.
  4. Work with cloud data engineers to install and configure information systems.
  5. Analyze structural requirements for new software, applications, and processes.
  6. Migrate data from legacy systems to cloud solutions.
  7. Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts.
  8. Improve system performance through testing, troubleshooting, and integration.
  9. Optimize data systems.
  10. Collaborate with security and operations teams to define security and backup procedures.
  11. Coordinate with stakeholders across departments to identify future needs and requirements.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • At least 10 years of experience designing, executing, and supporting data environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of data systems, process, and structure principles.
  • Experience with data modeling methods such as dimensional modeling, Vault, Star Schema, etc.
  • Knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques.
  • Effective communication skills to articulate complex cloud reports to management and IT development partners.
  • Exceptional team-building and leadership skills.
  • Experience with large-scale, secure, and high-availability solutions in GCP.
  • Good understanding of GCP services such as IAM and Google Cloud Storage buckets.
