About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Oakville Mitsubishi. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and quality of work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify faults and malfunctions in automotive systems.
  • Review Work Orders: Carefully review work orders to ensure accurate and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Adjust, Repair, or Replace Parts and Components: Use your expertise to adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Systems: Thoroughly test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Estimate Parts and Labour Costs: Accurately estimate parts and labour costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance Service: Provide routine maintenance services to ensure vehicles are running at optimal levels.
  • Advise Customers: Communicate effectively with customers to advise them on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Complete Reports: Maintain accurate records of problems and work performed.
  • Coach and Instruct Apprentices: Share your knowledge and expertise with apprentices to help them develop their skills.
  • Provide Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification: Possess a valid Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, withstanding physical demands such as standing for extended periods and manual dexterity.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate strong personal qualities such as accuracy, client focus, dependability, flexibility, judgement, reliability, team player, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
