Job Summary:

Nipissing University is seeking a qualified Course Instructor to teach social work courses. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering instruction and evaluation for the assigned portion of the course.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction and evaluation for the assigned portion of the course
  • Be available to meet with students outside of regular classroom hours
  • Complete mandatory training requirements and review Nipissing University's policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Social Work or related field (preferred)
  • Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)
  • Relevant teaching experience at the post-secondary level
  • Registered (or eligible for registration) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
  • A minimum of two years of practice experience in Social Work or a related field
